My 'Do You Have a Student Discount?' zine tackles the expectations placed on students within the art and design field. It looks into how someone from a marginalised background, in this case low income, might be left behind in a area that is fraught with unpaid internships and unrealistic standards. The zine draws upon stereotypical 'art school' aesthetics like that of the Doc Marten, which in itself is a practical boot turned into a status symbol. The work is produced via risograph printing.
